We are a pottery painting studio & creative space. We host workshops, parties, & private events.
The doors of Bisque Boutique opened October 1st, 2024. Our aim is for it to be a creative space. for anyone who enters. Come in to paint pottery anytime during store hours. We also offer creative workshops of all kinds throughout the year. Find out what's coming up on our Events & Workshops page.

We are Tamara & Kaylie, a mother- daughter team who own & run Bisque Boutique together. We began this

Kaylie is an artist & designer. She graduated from AppState with a bachelors in fine art with an emphasis in painting. It was there she discovered a love for ceramics as well. A collection of her work is available in the shop at Bisque Boutique. She has also taught classical ballet for 15+ years, & currently instructs at Louis Nunnery School of Ballet, the oldest ballet school in North Carolina. On her days off, she can be found day-tripping to Boone with her husband, Stephan, playing frisbee with her pup, Freckle, or working on her most recent diy home project.

Tamara has more than 30 years experience as an occupational therapy clinician working to enhance the quality of her patient’s lives through purposeful activities. She is a self-proclaimed artist who enjoys doodling, drawing, journaling, painting, sewing, & crafting of all types. She has also enjoyed leading a Book Club since 2006 & has her Book Club Party Guides available for purchase in the shop. She believes “Ohana” is God’s greatest gift to us here on earth & is so thankful for her small but wondrous circle that includes her husband, dad, 3 daughters, 3 son-in-laws, & 1 baby HayHay!
